Region 8 Presents Lifetime Achievement Award to Brenda Boyle SR/WA

Chapter 65 is happy to share that Brenda Boyle, SR/WA was presented the Region 8 Lifetime Achievement Award. Congratulations to Brenda, and we echo the many thanks for your dedication and commitment to the Chapter, Region and IRWA.

Region 8 Chair, Jay Wong, shared the following message;

In Region 8’s 2023 Fall Forum held in Cavendish PEI on October 15, 2023 we recognized and awarded Brenda Boyle, SR/WA,  the Region 8’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her hard work, dedication and contribution to Region 8 and Chapter 65. Brenda has tirelessly volunteered her time and passion to our Region in her past roles as Education chair, Secretary as well as Vice President and President of Chapter 65 for numerous years.  Her assistance in helping organize many region forums is greatly appreciated by all. Although Brenda has recently retired from the Province of PEI, we hope to see her at our future events and catch up on all the good times.  Many thanks Brenda. 

Awarded and presented by the Region 8 executive, the Region 8 Lifetime Achievement Award was first established in 2021 to honour and recognize those individuals’ long-term achievements in the field of the Right of Way Industry, including research, education and service to the association, Region 8 and their local chapter. The first recipient of this award was presented to Gordon MacNair from Chapter 63 Ottawa at the IRWA International Conference in Cleveland. Other recipients have been Tony Capordelis, Chapter 63 and Sandy Griggs, Chapter 29.
