Daniel Blanchard Professional Development Memoriam

The Daniel Blanchard Professional Development Memoriam is established in memory of International Right of Way Association member, Danny Blanchard, SR/WA who passed away on August 5, 2016 unexpectedly at the age of 59.

This $500 Memoriam is aimed at new professionals, or those who are working towards a professional designation and have limited financial support of employers to take courses. The funds are to be applied towards classroom orientated courses; however, in the evei:it a course is not being held in the immediate future, can be used for on-line courses which are deemed to be required for a professional designation.

Interested parties should apply between Oct I s1- March 31st in any given year. A letter expressing interest and outlining how this Memoriam will benefit their professional development needs to be submitted to the Chapter President. The Chapter Executive shall review all submissions and select the candidate, who will be announced at the Annual General Meeting.

In the event there are no submissions in any given year, the Chapter Executive reserves the right to review the Chapter Roster and select a Member from the Membership, who they feel would benefit from the Memoriam.
